HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Southern Governor has received Captain Waleed Al Thawadi and Captain Mohammed Al Khan, President of the Civil Defence Centre in Riffa at his office.

During the meeting, HH the Southern Governor affirmed the importance of the security officers’ role in bolstering community security and partnership by raising security awareness and upgrading competence and capabilities.

Moreover, he recognised the important efforts of Captain Al Thawadi during his tenure as President of the Civil Defence Centre in Riffa as well as his keenness to partner and coordinate with the Governorate in launching many meaningful programmes and initiatives.

At the same time, he wished Captain Mohammed Al Khan all the best on the occasion of his recent appointment as President of the Civil Defence Centre.

On their part, both Captains expressed their appreciation and gratitude to HH the Southern Governor for activating mutual cooperation in all security and community initiatives.
