General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, received His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate.
 
The Minister received the Southern Governorate’s 2024 annual report, outlining the achievements made over the past year across various development sectors through initiatives and programmes aimed at addressing citizens’ needs and monitoring project implementation in coordination with relevant authorities.
 
HH the Governor reviewed the governorate’s approach to ensuring swift response and strengthening direct communication with citizens to meet their service-related needs and aspirations, based on the principles of community partnership.
 
The Minister expressed appreciation for the Southern Governorate’s efforts in identifying and addressing local needs, wishing continued success in serving the Kingdom.
 
The meeting also discussed several matters related to the governorate’s affairs and the ongoing programmes designed to serve its residents.
