His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate, underscored the Governorate’s ongoing commitment to strengthening communication, prompt responsiveness, and community partnership, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali noted that as part of its digital transformation efforts, the Governorate issued a mid-year report indicating it received approximately 1,209 inquiries and requests by the end of June 2025 across security, service, and social sectors.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali said that these were submitted through various channels, including phone calls, the Southern Governorate app, email, the national “Tawasul” platform, and the Governorate Council.
The requests were categorised as 42% service-related, 37% social, and 21% security, the Governor added.
The Governor also emphasised that a specialised team processes and analyzes incoming requests before referring them to the appropriate departments, followed by field monitoring to ensure proper follow-up.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali reiterated the Governorate’s dedication to maintaining effective communication with residents and facilitating their feedback through direct contact, digital platforms, and smart services, in line with national efforts to enhance service delivery and community engagement.
