HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Southern Governor has met through the “Virtual Majlis” with a group of citizens living in the Southern Governorate in the presence of His Excellency Brigadier Isa Thamer Abdulla Al Dossari, Deputy Southern Governor as well as police officers and senior officials from the Southern Governorate.

At the beginning of the meeting, HH the Southern Governor welcomed the attendees underlining the importance of maintaining links with the citizens to meet their needs and aspirations in coordination with various competent authorities in implementation of the directives of HE Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.

Moreover, he stressed that security is a key pillar in development and progress, stating that the Governorate has been keen to contribute to the security and community efforts towards bolstering public awareness in a bid to combat the spread of Covid-19 via taking the necessary preventative and precautionary measures in coordination with various security departments.

“The Governorate will continue meeting the need of our people and realise their aspirations in cooperation with the security and community parties,” he affirmed.

From their side, the attendees have expressed their appreciation and gratitude to HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa for his keenness to establish links with people of the Governorate, adding that this reflects his desire to continue launching security and development initiatives to showcase the modern side of the Governorate.
