As part of His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Southern Governor’s keenness to implement the directives of the National Task Force for Combating the Coronavirus “Covid-19”, the Southern Governorate launched a disinfection campaign in East Riffa in collaboration with various security departments, including the General Directorate of Civil Defence and the Southern Governorate Police Directorate as well as several volunteers.

Commenting on this, HH the Southern Governor praised the social partnership and the efforts being exerted by the security officers and the volunteers, underlining that the precautionary disinfection campaigns emanate from the keenness to cement public awareness and impalement the preventative measures to put the spread of the pandemic under control. 

The campaign covered the public facilities across East Riffa. Participating in the event were several officials representing the Southern Governorate as well as police officers and citizens from the Southern Governorate and other cities.
