His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Southern Governor has held a meeting with citizens and people of the Governorate through video call in the presence of His Excellency Brigadier Isa Thamer Abdulla Al Dossari, the Deputy Southern Governor as well as several security officers.

At the beginning of the meeting, HH the Southern Governorate escalated his sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier on the occasion of the Eid Al Adha.

“We will continue executing all precautionary measures in coordination with various security departments in implementation of the directives of HE Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to bolster public awareness of the Covid 19 pandemic via the launch of disinfection campaigns in collaboration with the General Directorate of Civil Defence and the people living in the Governorate,” HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa said.

He pointed to the importance of holding virtual meetings with the Governorate’s people in order to exchange views and thoughts as well as determine their needs and aspirations to communicate them to the concerned departments. Furthermore, HH the Southern Governor praised the security and social initiatives due to their important roles in activating social partnership.

From their side, the attendees thanked HH the Southern Governor for his constant communication to determine their needs, valuing the Governorate’s continued pursuit to launch meaningful initiatives.
