On the directives of the Southern Governor HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa to implement smart communications with the people of the governorate, Dr. Muneera Al Subaie, the Information and Follow-up Manager at the Southern Governorate, underlined that the governorate would continue providing the best services via a bouquet of unique communication channels that live up to the expectations and aspirations of everyone residing in the Southern Governorate. 

She revealed that the Southern Governorate has received many social, service and security requests via the various channels it provides to the people living in its surrounding. "Since the introduction of the "Al Janubiyah" (The Southern) application in September 2019 and until March 2020, we received 4141 inquiries through the Live Chat service. And since January 2020 and until March 2020, we received 286 requests through the weekly meetings at the Southern's Majlis," she said, adding that: "We have also received 78 requests through the "We Will Transport You" channel," 

Moreover, she revealed that the Governorate addressed 203 requests through the "Tawasul" Application and 29 inquiries via email. "All of the inquiries and requests have been communicated to the concerned ministries and departments," she stated, urging the people of the Southern Governorate to take advantage of the available communication channels.
