HH Southern Governor inaugurates Investment Exhibition

His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Southern Governor, inaugurated the fifth edition of the Southern Governorate Investment Exhibition. The exhibition continues the governorate's efforts to strengthen the investment firms and give major investors and entrepreneurs a platform to present their projects and initiatives.

  HH the Governor affirmed that the continued hosting of the Investment Exhibition reflects the governorate's achievements in investment-led development and in encouraging the private sector and entrepreneurs, under the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister.

  HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali emphasised that the event aims to showcase pioneering projects and turn sustainable development goals into promising opportunities for investors across the governorate. This initiative aligns with the governorate’s efforts to transform sustainable development goals into promising investment opportunities, to foster innovation and to consolidate the governorate's efforts as a hub for sustainable business and development projects.

  The programme featured a presentation by the Director of Engineering Services and Investment, and the Head of Investment Development, outlining the governorate's role in promoting investment, its initiatives and programmes, and the opportunities open to the private sector. A short film was showcased on the governorate's sustainable development efforts.

 Following the ceremony, HH the Governor toured the exhibition pavilions, where he was briefed on the showcased projects and initiatives, met with various entrepreneurs and participants, and listened to explanations regarding their products and investment ventures.

  A panel discussion addressed investment and entrepreneurship, and ways of supporting business owners and widening their opportunities.

 The fifth edition builds on the success of previous ones, reflecting the governorate's commitment to encouraging investment and empowering entrepreneurs and local project owners.
