His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Southern Governor has launched the leading social project “Majlat Al Khair 3” which aims to provide a much-needed support to the less fortunate people in the holy month of Ramadan.

This comes following the success that the project has achieved through the previous two versions, confirming the pioneer role played by the Southern Governorate to help the needy people across the governorate overcoming their financial stress.

Commenting on this, HH the Southern Governor affirmed the Governorate’s keenness to launch unique and exceptional projects that meet the people’s needs and aspirations, especially during the holy month of Ramadan in line with our Islamic values and precepts.

The launch of the project was made this year through a virtual ceremony, which began with verses of the Qur’an. 

After that, Mr. Mohammed Hassan Al Faw, Head of the Social and Society Affairs Programmes at the Southern Governorate, expressed appreciation and gratitude for the support of HH the Southern Governor extended by him to the project. “The Majlat Al Khair project has accomplished extraordinary success since its introduction and we are happy for its re-launch,” Al Faw said.
