The Southern Governorate has received 3000 home-made face masks produced in collaborations with NGOs. And His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Southern Governor underlined that the efforts being exerted by the Southern Governorate to cement the preventative measures against the Covid-19 in collaboration with various security departments such as the Riffa Police Station contribute to increase the public awareness.

Furthermore, he hailed the continuation of security and societal initiatives due to their important role in activating social partnership against the virus. “Our efforts against the virus are ongoing, including the conduction of disinfection campaigns and distributing face masks,” he said. The event was held in the presence of HE Lt-Col. Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Riffa Police Station Chief and several other police officers.
