As part of the directives of His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Southern Governor, the second edition of HH the Southern Governor Security-Social Porgramme 2020 was launched on Sunday.

The Programme comes as part of the keen efforts that aim to reinforce security awareness and promote the spirit of community partnership among the youth, enabling them to face future challenges in all fields.

In this regard, Social Programmes and Community Affairs Director at the Southern Governorate Mr. Mohammed Hassan Al Faw said the Programme was widely welcomed by the residents of the governorate, explaining that more than 60 participants of both genders have registered to it.

Mr. Al Faw clarified that the Programme is the first security programme targeting the youth to be held virtually, adding that it consists of virtual workshops to qualify the participants on security and community communication in an interactive, purposeful and exceptional manner.

The programme continues from September 20, 2020, to October 6, 2020, through audio-visual communication, and with the participation of the cooperating security bodies, including the Royal Police Academy, the General Directorate of Traffic, the General Directorate of Civil Defence, Community Police Directorate, and the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security.
