Commissioned by the Southern Governor HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, HE Brigadier Isa Thamer Abdulla Al Dossari, Deputy Southern Governor made an oversight visit to the house which caught fire in Al Hajeeyat area. He was accompanied by several officials from the Governorate.

During the visit, HE Brigadier Al Dossari affirmed HH Shaikh Khalifa’s keenness and interest in following-up to the needs of the people of the Governorate to ensure their safety and wellbeing, underscoring the importance of adopting safety measures inside all buildings. Meanwhile, HE the Deputy Southern Governor checked on the welfare of the family who was residing in the building and he inspected the damages caused by the incident.

He stated that the competent authorities will proceed with securing a new home for the affected family, and rehabilitate the house. Moreover, he praised the quick response of the Civil Defence personnel, who swiftly put out the fire.
