HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Southern Governor has met several officers and lecturers engaged in the 2nd HH Southern Governor Security and Social Programme which took place virtually. The meeting was held through video call and was attended by HE Brigadier Isa Thamer Abdulla Al Dossari, Deputy Southern Governor as well as several police officers from the General Directorate of Traffic, Royal Police Academy, the General Directorate of Civil Defence, Community Police and the Criminal Investigation Department as well as the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption & Economic & Electronic Security.
During the meeting, HH affirmed that security is the backbone of the comprehensive development witnessed by the Governorate in order to deliver the aspirations of the citizens and people of the Governorate in line with directives of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the unlimited support from HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister and the follow-up of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
“The Southern Governorate will continue adopting and embracing various security and social initiatives to meet the needs and the requirements of the people as well as to bolster the security and stability of the society,” HH the Southern Governor said, praising the mutual security coordination among the Governorate and the various security departments which resulted in organising the 2nd HH Southern Governor Security and Social Programme. “The Programme has delivered many goals in line with the instructions of HE Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa which aim to reinforce security and cement community and security partnership.
Furthermore, HH the Southern Governor expressed thanks and appreciation to the efforts of all security departments which participated in the programme, applauding the role of this initiative to raise awareness of many vital security areas among citizens through meaningful lectures and workshops. From his side, Captain Mohammed Abdulrahman Bushlaibi, Security Coordination Officer at the Governorate explained that the programme had seen a large turnout with 60 participants took part, out of which 60% were girls and 40% were boys. He revealed that it featured many workshops and lectures.
From their side, the attendees thanked HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa for his efforts towards implementing security and social initiatives that improve social and security awareness among the people of the Governorate.
