Under the patronage of the Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Southern Governorate has held a virtual ceremony marking the launch of its new website which comes as part of the Governorate’s efforts to reinforce communication with its people and the citizens. Attending the event were His Excellency Brigadier Isa Thamer Abdulla Al Dossari, the Deputy Southern Governor as well as several directors and officials in the Governorate.
On this occasion, HH the Southern Governor underlined that the Governorate is witnessing the introduction of several unique initiatives to keep pace with the digital transformation and e-communication which are being seen around the world. “The new website has been unveiled as part of our efforts to strengthen our bonds with the people of the Southern Governorate as it features several state-of-the-art communication tools and channels to improve the effectiveness of the way we are connecting with them in a bid to address their needs and embrace their thoughts in various fields, including the security, social and development areas,” HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa said during the event.
From her side, Dr. Muneera Al Subaie, the Information and Follow-up Manager at the Southern Governorate, delivered a speech during the event, expressing thanks and appreciation to HH the
Southern Governor for building bridges with the people through smart communication channels to reflect a perfect image of the Southern Governorate’s tireless efforts towards serving its people.
Meanwhile, the Information and Follow-up Department at the Southern Governorate projected a short film showcasing the main services provided by the Southern Governorate to its people as well as its role in enabling engagement and cementing the social partnership principle in line with its keenness to address the needs of the people living in the Governorate.
At the end of the ceremony, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa launched the new official website of the Governorate which features many remarkable services that help in establishing constant communication and connection with the people of the Governorate. It’s worth noting that this new website is added to a series of exceptional services launched by the Governorate, including the introduction of the Smart Office as well as the weekly Virtual Majlis and holding meetings through video calls in addition to organising online symposiums.
