On the directives of the Southern Governor HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa to reinforce the precautionary measures against the Coronavirus "Covid-19" pandemic, the Southern Governorate has conducted a disinfection campaign covering the areas of Al Buhair and Al Hajiyat. 

The operation was carried out in collaboration with various security departments, including the General Directorate of Civil Defence and the Southern Governorate Police Directorate as well as several volunteers. 

Commenting on this, HH the Southern Governor underlined that the Governorate has launched a series of sterilisation campaigns across its areas in implementation of the directives of HE Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to bolster the preventative precautions against the virus in cooperation with the security departments to ensure the safety of the Governorate's people as well as the citizens. 

Furthermore, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa valued the active participation of the security men and the volunteers in cementing the social partnership and achieve its principles through the joint cooperation among the security forces and the society.

From their side, the participants in the campaign, including the security men and the volunteers have expressed their gratitude to HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa for the efforts he is exerting towards serving the society through meaningful initiatives that aim to safeguard the society.
