His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate, chaired the meeting of the security committee in the province in the presence of members of the various security departments at the Ministry of Interior.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness the Governor of the Southern Governorate stressed the keenness of the province to implement the directives of His Excellency General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior to provide all security services and programs and review the needs and observations expressed by citizens and residents. Various departments in support of security and safety in the southern province. 

He also briefed HH on the visual presentation made by the General Administration of Traffic, which includes the security preparations coinciding with the approach of the new school year. From the General Directorate of Civil Defense on future plans and programs and ways to implement them in cooperation and coordination with the competent security departments and authorities.

During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa discussed the security needs provided through direct meetings with citizens, stressing the importance of taking these views that meet the aspirations of the people and society. And follow up and overcome all the difficulties facing them in cooperation with the concerned authorities.

At the end of the meeting, His Highness praised the efforts of the members of the security committee aimed at strengthening the security and safety pillars in the southern governorate, and the implementation of initiatives that contribute to the security and community efforts throughout the province.
