His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate, in the presence of Brigadier Hamad bin Huwail Al Marri, Director General of the Southern Governorate Police Directorate, received a number of senior officials, media, security men and citizens at his weekly council in the Southern Governorate.
At the outset of the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa stressed that the province is keen to implement the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness Father Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the First Deputy Prime Minister, communicated with citizens, stressing that the weekly council is a basic platform and a close base to seek the requirements and needs of the people of the province and listen to their proposals directly.
HH the Governor of the Southern Governorate confirmed that the governorate is witnessing comprehensive development in all fields, as it hosts major projects abound in various regions and added to the record of civilizational, developmental and urban gains of the Southern Governorate.

He praised the prominent role played by the security services, which is the cooperation of the Southern Governorate Police Directorate and working as a team to consolidate the pillars of security and stability throughout the province.

For their part, the attendees expressed their thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Governor of the Southern Governorate for His Highness's keenness to communicate with the people of the province, praising the efforts of His Highness to contribute to the progress and advancement of the Southern Governorate
