Under the patronage of HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Southern Governor and as part of the “Your Safety in Summer” campaign, the Southern Governorate held the virtual forum which is part of the campaign.

The event is part of the series of initiatives and programmes being organised by the Governorate and it was attended by His Excellency Brigadier Isa Thamer Abdulla Al Dossari, Deputy Southern Governor, HE Brigadier Mohammed bin Daina, Director of Police Media at the Ministry of Interior as well as representatives from Coast Guard and Civil Defence.

At the beginning of the meeting, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa underlined that the Governorate has launched a series of precautionary initiatives and programmes in the security fields in implementation of the directives of HE Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to achieve community partnership with citizens and bolster security and community awareness.

“We will continue launching such events due to their important role in activating community responsibility among all society members,” HH Shaikh Khalifa said during the event.

Furthermore, HH the Southern Governor praised the efforts of the security men and their collaboration with the Southern Governorate through their active participation in the initiatives and programmes being launched.

From their side, the attendees thanked HH Shaikh Khalifa for patronising the meaningful campaigns that the Governorate have introduced in summer, affirming their keenness to cooperate with the Governorate in oraganising meaningful events that are designed to benefit the people living in the Governorate.
