Southern Governor Meets Zallaq’s People Via Virtual Majlis

His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Southern Governor has met several people from Zallaq through the “Virtual Majlis”, which is an online event that allows HH to continue meeting the people of the Governorate and hold meaningful discussions with them to hear their thoughts and opinions.

The event was held in the presence of several police officers and officials from the Governorate. During the meeting, HH Shaikh Khalifa underlined the Southern Governorate’s keenness to maintain constant contact with the citizens living in the Governorate in a bid to deliver their requests and follow-up to their service and security needs in implementation of the directives of HE Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa which aim to reinforce community partnership with the citizens.

“The Virtual Majlis is considered among the most efficient smart communication tools with the people of the Governorate and citizens. It has been launched due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus +Covid 19+ pandemic to ensure constant engagement with the citizens living in the Governorate,” HH Shaikh Khalifa said.

Meanwhile, HH the Southern Governor followed-up to the service requests of Zallaq, including the area’s essential infrastructure and facility requirements in line with its people’s aspirations and the urbanisation trend witnessed by the village.

Furthermore, he affirmed that the Governorate will continue launching security and social initiatives due to their roles in community partnership, while abiding by preventive measures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the citizens.

At the end of the meeting, the attendees expressed their appreciation and gratitude to HH the Southern Governor for his continued care and interest in establishing sustained communication with the people of the Governorate, praising the security and precautionary initiatives being launched by the Southern Governorate to safeguard the community.
