As part of the recommendations of the Security Committee to bolster the efforts towards maintaining the safety and the security of the people in summer and on the directives of the Southern Governor HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Southern Governorate is continuing "Your Safety in Summer" campaign.

The event has been launched by the Governorate in a bid to reinforce the social partnerahip principle with the people of the Governorate and the establishments to raise awareness of safety and security issues during summer.

Moreover, the team members involved in organising the campaign have distributed cold water bottles to labourers working in the area, while they also gave away booklets that contained important saftey precautions in summer. 

Commenting on this, Mr. Mohammed Hassan Al Fao, Social Programmes and Community Affairs Director at the Southern Governorate underlined that the efforts being exerted by the Governorate towards launching awareness campaign come to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all society members living in the Governorate.

He further added that the event is being held in collaboration with the Southern Police Directorate and several other security departments.
