Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa chaired the 7th meeting of the security meeting remotely via videoconference.

 Deputy Southern Governor Brigadier Isa Thamer Al-Dosari and Interior Ministry’s officers attended the virtual session which focused on preparations for Eid Al-Adha.

 HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa stressed the importance of security and community partnership, in line with the directives of the Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa.

 He was updated about security needs in the area of Riffa, stressing the importance of strengthening community partnership and stepping security campaigns.

 He directed security directorates to step preparations for the Eid Al Adha and deploy patrols countrywide, stressing the need to ensure compliance with the mandatory precautionary measures.

 The session was briefed about the plan drawn up by the General Directorate of Traffic to ensure the smooth flow of vehicles in all areas of the Southern Government and the safety of road users.
