As part of the celebration of Bahraini women’s achievements and their role in national development, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, the Southern Governor, met with female staff members of the governorate to mark Bahraini Women’s Day.

The governor highlighted the contributions of Bahraini women across various domains under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He emphasised that Bahraini women have been instrumental in driving development and shaping a prosperous future for the Kingdom.

The governor highlighted that recognising Bahraini women aligns with the initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), to support and empower women in all fields. He also commended the achievements and contributions of women in the Southern Governorate.
