His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate, visited the Social Services Complex Project in Isa Town to review the progress of the works. 

The visit forms part of a series of field visits undertaken by HH the Southern Governor to various sites and projects, aimed at enhancing direct engagement and supporting residents across service, development, and social sectors.

HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali highlighted the Southern Governorate’s commitment to field engagement across all areas, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. His Highness the Southern Governor highlighted the Governorate’s commitment to addressing residents’ needs and supporting sustainable development.

HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali was briefed on the range of services offered by the project and its role in strengthening social protection through the provision of advanced infrastructure, including modern buildings, facilities, and services designed to meet the diverse needs of the community. He noted that the project reflects the Government’s efforts to deliver comprehensive care to beneficiaries using state-of-the-art solutions following the highest quality standards.

HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali said that the developmental progress witnessed in the Southern Governorate is a result of ongoing coordination and cooperation between the Governorate and various government entities. He also commended the efforts and collaboration of the Ministry of Works and the Ministry of Social Development in implementing development projects that address the aspirations of citizens and residents alike.
