HH Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has received General Directorate of Civil Defence Director-General HE Brigadier Ali Mohammed Al Hooty, who was accompanied by a number of officers. Attending the meeting too was Deputy Governor HE Brigadier Isa bin Thamer Al Dossari. 

At the beginning of the meeting, HH the Southern Governor underlined the Southern Governorate's keenness to adopt many security initiatives and precautionary disinfection campaigns which were conducted across the Governorate in coordination with the General Directorate of Civil Defence. Moreover, His Highness has discussed the mutual efforts to meet the security needs of the citizens of the Governorate. 

He then honoured a number of civil defence officers in recognition of their efforts and partnership in conducting precautionary disinfection campaigns and field visits which supported preventive measures against COVID-19.
