Southern Governor, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, today paid an inspection visit to the “Khalifa Town” and Al-Dur region, as part of his field visits to various regions across the Governorate.

 During the visit, attended by a number of government officials, the governor was informed about the citizens’ needs in the service, social and development fields, and followed up on the ongoing and future projects.

 HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali underlined the Southern Governorate’s keenness to implement the directives of the leadership to constantly enhance the service and development sectors, which enjoy the care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali highlighted the Southern Governorate’s unwavering interest in following up on the needs of the local citizens, in cooperation and coordination with the competent authorities, in order to improve the quality of the services and raise their efficiency so as to serve the urban development currently witnessed by various regions across the governorate.

 HH the Governor highlighted the Southern Governorate’s keenness to learn about the local citizens’ needs and remarks through its communication channels, dispatch a team to collect first-hand information about those needs and then discuss them with the representatives of the government during the Coordination Council.

 The governor was also informed about the progress of the ongoing projects, including infrastructure and roads, in addition to service facilities, stressing the importance of enhancing the quality of the delivered services in order to meet the aspirations of the citizens there.
