His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Southern Governor, inaugurated the fourth edition of the Southern Governorate Investment Forum. The event follows the success of previous editions and its effective role in encouraging all segments of the local investment sector.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali emphasised that the exceptional achievements in investment development witnessed in the Southern Governorate, through the encouragement of the private sector and entrepreneurs, are part of the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. These efforts aim to fulfil further aspirations for the advancement of the Southern Governorate.
HH the Southern Governor highlighted the Governorate's keenness to organise this event with the participation of leading investment companies and entrepreneurs. The exhibition aims to showcase pioneering projects as a bright civilisational destination, in line with the Governorate’s efforts to transform sustainable development goals into tangible investment opportunities across its regions. This approach reinforces innovation and leadership, positioning the Southern Governorate as a vital centre for business, development projects, and a fertile environment for future ventures.
Abdullah Yousef Al Ghatam, Head of Investment Development at the Governorate, commended HH the Southern Governor’s support for investment, partnerships with the private sector, and the empowerment of young entrepreneurs and owners of local enterprises. He noted that such support opens new horizons for participants, nurtures their creativity, and enriches their experience and qualifications. He also highlighted that this exhibition aligns with the Governorate’s efforts to earn the title of a "Healthy Governorate."
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali honoured the participating entities, including: Massar Group, Al Areen Holding, Durrat Al Bahrain, Inovest, in addition to several local projects and entrepreneurs.
