His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Southern Governor, attended the pre-emptive disinfection campaign held in Isa town to disinfect public facilities, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Civil Defence and with the participation of a number of officers from Isa Town Police Station and volunteers.

HH Shaikh Khalifa stressed the Southern Governorate’s drive to take necessary precautionary measures to combat the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic and in line with the directives of HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, to achieve community partnership with all security authorities.

His Highness also commended the strenuous efforts exerted by the Civil Defence to ensure people’s safety and enforce preventive measures, with the aim of raising awareness and ensuring the implementation of social distancing.

It is worth noting that the disinfection campaign was also attended by MP. Ahmed Al Amer, Municipal Councillor Malallah Shaheen and members of Isa Town Club and Isa Town Charity Society.

From their part, the residents of Isa Town expressed appreciation to the efforts devoted by HH the Southern Governor to launch purposeful initiatives and campaigns within the concept of community partnership.
