As part of its keenness to bolster constant contact with the citizens, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Southern Governor has met several people of the Governorate through the Virtual Majlis; a technology designed to allow people meet through video call with the Governorate’s officials on a weekly-basis. The event was attended by several officials and police officers from the Governorate as well as His Excellency Brigadier Isa Thamer Abdulla Al Dossari, Deputy Southern Governor.

At the beginning of the meeting, HH the Southern Governor welcomed the attendees, affirming that the Governorate is keen to establish sustained communication with the citizens and residents of the Governorate in order to deliver their needs and meet their aspirations in line with the directives of HE Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and via the collaboration with various security departments.

Furthermore, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali pointed out that the Governorate will continue adopting unique initiatives to increase awareness of the importance of activating community partnership with various security, public and private agencies to safeguard the safety of the citizens through following precautions against the Coronavirus “COVID-19”.

Meanwhile, HH discussed the ongoing works on several development and service projects that have been designed to serve the needs of the people of the Governorate. At the end of the meeting, the attendees expressed utmost thanks and appreciation for the constant support extended from HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali, and his keenness to follow the necessities of the people.
