As part of the kingdom's celebration of its national days, Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa received a number of officers at his Majlis. He stressed the governorate's success in hosting a line-up of national functions which attracted thousands of visitors. He praised the role of the security bodies in this respect, stressing the governorate's keenness to coordinate with them, in line with the directives of Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and to boost community partnership.

The Southern Governor honoured a number of affiliates to the Southern Governorate Police Directorate, the General Directorate of Traffic, the General Directorate of Civil Defence and the National Ambulance, in recognition of their contribution in the national days celebrations.

The honourees expressed thanks and respect to the Southern Governor for the kind gesture, praising cooperation of the governorate and citizens in all programmes.
