His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Governor of the Southern Governorate, received H.E. Rudy Drummond, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom on the occasion of his appointment as Ambassador of his country to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness the Governor of the Southern Governorate welcomed H.E. Ambassador Drummond and reviewed the depth of the distinguished historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom and the two friendly peoples through a presentation of historical images and frameworks of joint cooperation.

The H.E Ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Governor of the Southern Governorate for the good reception, pointing out the role of mutual coordination, including the continuous development and growth of the two countries in various fields.
