His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate visited the camp services center and followed up the affairs of camping in Sakhir region in the presence of His Excellency Brigadier General Hamad bin Huwail Al Marri, Director General of the Southern Governorate Police Directorate, in addition to a number of officials and officers of the Ministry of the Interior in order to view the security campaign which coincides with the current camping season.

He stressed the great support of His Excellency Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior Lt-General to follow up the security situation with all security authorities to make more security cooperation and coordination throughout the season of the camping.

The governor of the Southern Governorate, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali al-Khalifa, also saw video presentations including the most prominent statistics in the security campaign monitored by Southern Governorate Police Directorate, the General Directorate of Civil Defense and the General Directorate of Traffic during the season.

These statistics indicate that the number of accidents in this season is compared to the previous seasons by 1%, and the rate of traffic violations decreased as in the past seasons, it exceeded 1887 traffic violations while this season decreased to approximately 1147 traffic violations. The General Directorate of Civil Defense did not record any statistics of fire incidents compared to last season which recorded 14 fire incidents.

The governor of the Southern Governorate, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa, also visited the security point in the area of Hafira where he inspected its most important safety and security activities in the area for the arrival of ,any campers in addition to enhancing the communication and follow-up of various emergency situations throughout the region by providing continuous security guidance to ensure the safety and security of citizens and campers.
