Derived from its keenness to continue its communication with citizens, the Southern Governorate has recently launched its "Virtual Majlis", which will be held every Wednesday to follow up on the needs and requirements of residents and citizens, and to enhance direct communication with them.

On the occasion, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Southern Governor, asserted that the Virtual Majlis reflects the Governorate's keenness to utilise the advanced means of audio-visual technology to sustain communicating with the citizens and residents of the Governorate, affirming the concept of community partnership through smart channels.

His Highness also pointed out that the continuity of virtual meetings with citizens comes within the Governorate's approach to communicate with them, discuss their suggestions and fulfil their needs, adding that the Virtual Majlis has become an essential electronic platform to meet them.
