His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Southern Governor, received a group of MPs and residents of the Southern Governorate, as part of efforts to maintain direct communication with the public.

The meeting was attended by Brigadier Hamad Mohammed Al Khayyat, Deputy Governor.

HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali highlighted his commitment to engaging with citizens and upholding national values.  He noted that this approach follows the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and is supported by the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, aiming to provide comprehensive development services.

The Governor said the Southern Governorate continues to hold direct meetings and field visits to meet residents’ needs across different sectors.  He emphasised following up on development, service, and social projects with relevant authorities to improve service quality and reflect sustainable development in all areas of the governorate.

HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali listened to residents’ needs presented by MPs, as well as security, service, and social feedback from the public.  He emphasised the importance of following up on all comments with relevant authorities to ensure residents’ needs are met.

The MPs and residents commended the Governor's continuous communication and close follow-up on development needs across the governorate.  They also lauded the governorate’s efforts in coordinating effectively with all authorities.
