Southern Governor, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, paid an inspection visit to Khalifa Town to follow up on the work progress in a number of health and services projects. He stressed the governorate’s keenness on boosting field communication with citizens to assess their needs and cater to them, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

HH the Southern Governor inspected a number of projects in Khalifa Town, stressing the importance of field visits in assessing citizens’ needs and achieving their aspirations. He was also updated about the progress of work in Khalifa Town Health Centre project and the facilities it comprises to provide the best healthcare. He lauded cooperation between the Ministry of Works, Municipality Affairs and Urban Planning and the Ministry of Health in implementing the pioneering developmental project. 

HH the Southern Governor also got informed about Askar jetty and beach development project, highlighting the role of developing the services and infrastructure facilities in achieving people’s aspirations.
