Southern Governor, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, met through his virtual Majlis today with a number of citizens and senior officials from across the Southern Governorate, in the presence of his Deputy Brigadier Isa Thamer Al Dosari.

HH the Southern Governor welcomed the audience, stressing the importance of the approach of communicating with citizens to assess their needs and cater to them in cooperation with the relevant authorities, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

HH the Southern Governor affirmed keenness on optimizing citizen-oriented services which reflect the development process all over the governorate. He pointed out the importance of field visits to reach out to citizens and follow up on the implementation of various projects.

HH the Southern Governor also followed on the ongoing efforts to ensure adherence to the precautionary measures to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus. He underlined the importance of awareness campaigns in boosting safety and promoting social awareness of the dire need to comply with the preventative measures for the safety of all.

HH the Southern Governor listened to the citizens’ remarks and proposals regarding various infrastructure projects, stressing continuous follow up on them with the competent authorities.

The audience expressed thanks and appreciation to HH the Southern Governor for his continuous communication with them to assess their needs and achieve their aspirations.
