HM King receives well-wishers for Ramadan

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received well-wishers from across the Kingdom of Bahrain’s governorates at Sakhir Palace, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. 

The meeting reflects His Majesty’s commitment to engaging with the people of Bahrain during the holy month of Ramadan.

The gathering commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech from His Majesty. 

His Majesty the King extended warm greetings on the occasion of the last ten days of Ramadan, wishing for divine blessings and prosperity for the Arab and Islamic nations. 

His Majesty reflected on the countless blessings granted to Bahrain, emphasising gratitude for the country’s security, stability, and unity.   

His Majesty the King highlighted Bahrain’s commitment to prosperity, tolerance, and coexistence, reaffirming national pride in its achievements. 

His Majesty also celebrated the recent launch of the Bahraini satellite “Al Munther”, recognising it as a milestone in the Kingdom’s scientific progress and a testament to the capabilities of Bahraini youth. 

His Majesty the King encouraged further investment in young talents and urged institutions to support innovation and technological advancement.    

His Majesty the King emphasised the importance of sustaining progress in key sectors, particularly education and healthcare, as fundamental pillars of national development. 

His Majesty directed the acceleration of housing projects to deliver 50,000 new units and enhance public services to meet citizens’ needs. 

On Bahrain’s role in promoting regional and global stability, His Majesty the King underscored the Kingdom’s commitment to conflict resolution, Arab unity, and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, advocating for a world built on understanding and peace.   

Concluding the address, His Majesty the King prayed for unity, divine acceptance of good deeds, and continued success in serving the nation.

Following His Majesty the King’s address, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, delivered a speech, expressing gratitude to His Majesty the King. 

He emphasised the commitment of the Bahraini people to the leadership and praised His Majesty the King’s approach to governance, which fosters national unity and enhances the bond between the leadership and citizens.

The event continued with a poem by poet Mohammed Hadi Al Halwaji, after which the governors presented commemorative gifts to His Majesty the King.

Well-wishers then had the honour of greeting His Majesty, extending their congratulations on Ramadan and the approaching final ten days of the month. 

They wished the Kingdom success under the leadership of His Majesty the King.

The attendees expressed their gratitude for His Majesty’s ongoing care for citizens and efforts to ensure their well-being. 

They also praised His Majesty the King’s directives, which have resulted in key development projects across the Kingdom’s governorates, including housing, education, and healthcare facilities. 

They highlighted His Majesty’s commitment to maintaining close ties with the people of Bahrain, especially during this sacred month, highlighting the strong bond between the leadership and citizens.
