Southern Governor, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, chaired the first Coordination Council meeting, in its 3rd session for the year 2022. The online meeting was attended by members representing various government entities.

 HH the Southern Governor welcomed the audience, stressing that continuous communication with citizens is an approach to reach out to them and cater to their needs in cooperation with the competent authorities. He noted that achieving citizens’ aspirations is in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

 HH the Southern Governor got informed about development projects and plans being carried out across the governorate, including the maintenance and restoration of mosques in preparation for the Holy Month of Ramadan. In this context, he ordered to form a joint work team with the Sunni Endowment Directorate to assess the situation of mosques in the Southern Governorate and ensure their maintenance.

 HH the Southern Governor was also informed about the development plans of many service facilities and progress in implementing various projects across the governorate.

 The audience expressed thanks and appreciation for the role of the Coordination Council, under the chairmanship of HH the Southern Governor, in following up on various development projects aimed at achieving sustainable growth.
