Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa paid a visit to the Camping Services Centre, in the presence of the Southern Governorate Police Director General Brigadier Hamad bin Hewil Al Merri, officers and officials from the Interior Ministry, marking the start of the camping season 2019-2020.

 The Southern Governor stressed the directives of Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to follow up with the competent security parties to ensure the safety of people throughout the camping season and provide the best security services. He pointed out success of "Camp" initiative as a smart way of communication with citizens and campers. It was launched during the announcement of the camping season which will continue from November 20, 2019 to March 20, 2020. Subscribers for the camping season topped around 1500 persons during the first days of the registration process.

 The Southern Governor stressed keenness to facilitate the subscription procedures and provide optimal communication services. He also inspected during the visit the civil service vehicles, security patrols and the main preparations by the Southern Governorate Police Directorate, the General Traffic Directorate and the General Directorate of Civil Defence. He stressed keenness on Cooperation with the relevant security bodies to ensure success of the camping season.
