Under the directives of Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, The Southern Governorate in cooperation with Health Ministry and Municipality of the Governorate, organized an awareness and inspection campaign in the commercial area.
This inspection campaign is the first among the series of campaigns, which aims to inspect if the region's shops meet the health requirements, check the status of food and ways of storing it, and verify the status of commercial records.
Southern Governorate’s Engineering and Investment Services Director Khalid Abdullatif Hajji said that the campaign was attended by a number of inspectors from Health Ministry and Municipality, who visited about 17 shops, including various restaurants, reviewing their abidance of the health and security requirements.
