The Southern Governorate hosted a ceremony in honour of sponsors and contributors to the events which were held all along this year.

Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa patronised the ceremony, which was attended by officials representing the public and private sectors, senior officers and media figures

He paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.

He stressed the Governorate’s keenness on consolidating partnership, in line with the directives of the Minister of Interior, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa to strengthen cooperation with the private and non-governmental sectors.

He thanked all officials, private and non-governmental parties which contributed to supporting the events which were held in the Southern Governorate during this year.

He also commended all the personnel of the Southern Governorate and the security agencies which spare no effort to follow-up the events and ensure coordination with competent authorities.

Information and Follow-up director Dr. Munira Ibrahim Al-Subae also addressed the ceremony, expressing thanks to the Southern Governor for his dedicated efforts to achieve comprehensive development.
