His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Governor of the Southern Governorate attended the reception held by the Bahrain-Japan Business & Friendship Society on the occasion of his visit to Japan where he was greeted by His Excellency Kyoji Kwana, Chairman of the Society, His Excellency Ahmed Al Dosari, the Ambassador of Bahrain in Japan, His Excellency Hideki Eto'o, the Japanese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain and a number of Japanese businessmen and companies.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the Chairman of Bahrain-Japan Business & Friendship Society, Mr. Kyoji Kwana, gave a speech welcoming the visit of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, which was an opportunity to support and enhance the Japanese-Bahraini relations, especially the economic relations, which witnessed a remarkable development after the visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's to Japan on April 2012.
The Chairman of Bahrain-Japan Business & Friendship Society expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Governor of the Southern Governorate for supporting the Society which contributed to the implementation of its objectives and mission through facilitating communication and coordination between both countries and the economic, investment and vital sectors. He also thanked the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Japan, the Chairman of the Economic Development Board, the Japanese Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Governor of the Southern Governorate, addressed a speech before a number of Japanese businessmen and companies during which he praised their role in supporting the economic relations between Bahrain and Japan which witnessed a remarkable development in many fields and confirming that Bahrain welcomes the bilateral cooperation with Japan due to the importance of the Japanese side on the commercial level as well as the prominent position of the Kingdom of Bahrain which has the advantages of attracting economy and investments. He also wished success to Bahrain-Japan Business & Friendship Society and to open new horizons of joint works.
After that, His Excellency Asako, the Former Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, delivered a speech during which he praised the role of His Highness the Governor of South Governorate over many years in developing friendship and relations between the two countries, encouraging and supporting establishments of economic and industrial projects and bilateral initiatives between Japan and Bahrain.
