At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness the Governor of the Southern Governorate welcomed the attendees, stressing that the Southern Governorate is honored to implement the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the honorable Prime Minister, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the First Deputy Prime Minister, in communicating with citizens and achieving more gains for the country and the citizen.

His Highness also praised the role of His Excellency Lieutenant-General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa in supporting security and safety pillars, enhancing cooperation and coordination between the various security agencies and enhancing safety and comfort for citizens in various religious occasions. H.H. praised the cooperation and community partnership with the Southern Governorate Police Directorate, affirming that they are the best appointed and support for the governorate in supporting community security work in religious observances and other programs and initiatives.

His Highness pointed out that the southern governorate is continuing in the process of comprehensive development and civilization progress through highlighting the development projects in the governorate and work to meet the expectations of the people, in direct communication with citizens, where the governorate recently witnessed the opening of the most prominent development projects in various service sectors in different fields such as Shaikha Moza Bint Hamad Girls School, which recently opened in Khalifa City.

For their part, the attendees expressed their thanks and appreciation for the direct and permanent communication that the Governor of the Southern Governorate is keen to embody, and his efforts to monitor and follow up the needs of the people through comprehensive development projects in all regions.
