The General Organization for Governorates Coordination has held, in cooperation with the Southern Governorate, a course focused on cyber-security course.

 Head of the Excellence Team, Dr. Mohammed Saad conducted the course, which was held at the Southern Governorate. It was attended by employees representing the governorates and the Interior Ministry’s directorates.

 Human Resources director Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Romaihi highlighted the directives of Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa to keep abreast of technological and IT strides and developing services benefiting citizens.

 He stressed the importance of expanding the use of smart applications to highlight different development projects being implemented. He underlined the governorate’s keenness on holding workshops, lectures and courses to highlight the dangers emerging from modern technologies and ways of dealing with risks by stepping up cybersecurity.
