The two-day event will be held under the patronage of Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa.
Around 200 participants will take part in the event, being held in cooperation with official authorities, civil society parties and voluntary teams in the Southern Governorate.
Social Programmes and Community Affairs director Mohammed Hassan Al-Faw said that the event will be held following directives from the Southern Governor to strengthen community partnership and promote the culture of voluntary work.
He said that the event would include various campaigns aimed at protecting public facilities at the Khalifa Town, including beach clean-up, tree-planting, road embellishment, a photo exhibition, amateur painting and other activities.
