His Highness Shaikha Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Southern Governor, opened the Southern Governorate Heritage Festival, which was held on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Anniversary of HM the King's Accession to the Throne.
The opening ceremony was attended His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Basketball Association, Dr Nabeel Abulfateh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, and a number of senior officials representing the sponsoring parties.
