Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has asserted the governorate’s keenness to promote community and security partnership by adopting awareness programmes, in correlation with the directives of Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
HH was speaking as he received, in the presence of his Deputy Brigadier Isa bin Thamer Al Doseri, a number of officers and staff members of the General Directorate of Civil Defence, marking the World Civil Defence Day which is observed on March 1.
HH the Southern Governor honoured a number of officers and staff members of the General Directorate of Civil Defence, commending their role in protecting lives and properties and promoting awareness among people.
The audience thanked HH the Southern Governor for honouring them and for his contribution to boosting security and community partnership.
