Programme:
During December, 2019, a new coronavirus mysteriously emerged in the City of Wuhan, China. The emergence cause of this new coronavirus or its transmission methods have not been determined yet. Additionally, no cure or vaccine for this virus exist yet. Following its recent outbreak in the Kingdom of Bahrain in February, 2020, the Southern Governorate organised a health awareness lecture on the means of prevention and protection from the new virus, in coordination with the Ministry of Health.
Goals:
1. Raise awareness among the community.
2. Protect the health of the community.
3. Curb the spread of the virus and prevent transmission.
