His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate, chaired the fifth Security Committee meeting for the year 2022, in the presence of a number of officers from representatives of the security authorities and officials in the governorate.
During the meeting, His Highness welcomed the attendees, stressing the great role of the Security Committee in implementing the directives of General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, in meeting the needs of the people to enhance security and stability in the southern community, praising the outstanding efforts made by the security services in consolidating the elements Security and safety in the governorate’s regions, His Highness noted the level of cooperation and coordination that exists between the governorate and the various security agencies, which enhances the governorate’s success in meeting the needs of citizens and residents in the security field.
The committee also discussed the needs of Isa Town, and the efforts made by the Southern Governorate Police Directorate to enhance security and safety in public facilities. Achieving speedy response to the reports received by the residents to ensure enhancing security and tranquility.
After that, His Highness the Governor discussed with Colonel Dr. Muhammad Khalifa Al-Bandir, Director of Operations Department of the General Directorate of Civil Defense and Head of the Executive Office of the National Committee for Disaster Response at the Ministry of Interior, ways of joint cooperation by discussing plans and efforts of common interest. His Highness the Governor, Chairman of the Security Committee, was also briefed on the efforts of the General Department of Civil Defense, noting the importance of continuing joint cooperation with the Department in securing the required safety in all areas of the governorate, combating accidents and raising the level of preventive awareness among citizens and residents.
