His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Southern Governor, today received several Representatives Council members, dignitaries, civil society members and citizens.

 The Southern Governorate’s Majlis was also attended by Deputy Governor, Colonel Hamad Mohammed Al-Khahyyat, officers and officials from the Governorate.

 HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali stressed the importance of enhancing communication with the citizens and meeting their development needs, in line with the sound vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’

 His Highness indicated that meeting the citizens provides an opportunity to listen to their remarks and proposals in the security, service and social fields.

 HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali noted that the Southern Governorate is continuing to consolidate the approach of communicating with families and citizens through the available electronic channels and smart platforms.

 He also stated that the Southern Governorate will continue to strengthen partnership and cooperation with the security services at the Ministry of Interior, praising the level of the ongoing cooperation and coordination, commending the tremendous efforts exerted by the security authorities to strengthen the pillars of security and safety across the Governorate’s regions.

 The Southern Governor was informed about the citizens’ remarks and proposals in various fields, stressing constant follow-up and coordination with the relevant authorities regarding the constructive proposals that contribute to meeting the citizens’ aspirations for comprehensive development.

 The attendees expressed thanks and appreciation to HH the Southern Governor for his constant keenness to communicate with the citizens to identify their needs and meet their aspirations.
