His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Southern Governor, has congratulated the Southern Governorate’s employees for winning the e-Government Excellence Award for the year 2023 in the category of best practice in electronic participation for the Southern Service project for video calls. 

He said that the Governorate is proud to be honoured with this prestigious award for the second year in a row.

He affirmed that the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the continuous follow-up by His Highness Royal Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, are the motives to enhance communication and interaction with citizens and residents and take into account their needs, opinions and suggestions to keep pace with the achievement of comprehensive development, progress and growth in developing e-services and transactions provided to all citizens and residents.

He asserted that this award is an incentive to continue providing the best services to citizens and residents with distinction and high quality, to ensure constant communication and rapid response and to meet their needs closely. The communication carried out by the Southern Governorate in coordination and effective community partnership with the people, following the instructions of Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to achieve the visions and aspirations aimed at meeting and following up on the needs of the people and citizens.
